What's the name of the sport that has people on bicycles flipping a football with their wheels?

1886 Swift Safety Bicycle

Vehicles for human transport that have two wheels and require balancing by the rider date back to the early 19th century. The first means of transport making use of two wheels arranged consecutively, and thus the archetype of the bicycle, was the German draisine dating back to 1817. The term bicycle was coined in France in the 1860s.

Earliest unverified bicycle[edit]

Replica made 1965-72 from the alleged 1493 Caprotti sketch.

There are several early but unverified claims for the invention of the bicycle.

The earliest comes from a sketch said to be from 1534 and attributed to Gian Giacomo Caprotti, a pupil of Leonardo da Vinci. In 1998 Hans-Erhard Lessing described this as a purposeful fraud.[1][2] However, the authenticity of the bicycle sketch is still vigorously maintained by followers of Prof. Augusto Marinoni, a lexicographer and philologist, who was entrusted by the Commissione Vinciana of Rome with the...

21Figure Skating

This is a dangerous sport, way more than most of the sports higher on the list. I'm a figure skater, and I work as an ice rink guard so I see LOTS of falls and injuries, people knocking each other down (unintentionally usually), people getting skate blades jabbed into them because they fall unexpectedly in front of other skaters, banged heads are highly common. Recently an instructor ended up having to have surgery for head trauma because some kid plowed into her causing her to hit her head. This is the only sport I know of in which a person can break bones from just standing still! I suffered simultaneous spiral fractures in my tibia and fibula requiring surgeries and a metal plate to hold my tibia together, and have permanent damage, when all I was doing was standing still talking to someone... My foot turned on the slippery ice and I fell on top of my leg. One time I leaned a little going into a spin and banged my cheek...

A bicycle kick, also known as an overhead kick or scissors kick,[A] is a physical move in association football achieved by throwing the body up into the air and making a shearing movement with the legs in order to get one leg in front of the other without resting on the ground. In most languages, the manoeuvre is named after either the cycling motion or the scissor motion that it resembles.[3] Their complexity and uncommon performance in competitive football matches make them one of association football's most celebrated skills.[B]

Bicycle kicks are used when players find the acrobatic manoeuvre their best resource. It can be used defensively to clear away the ball from the goalmouth or offensively to strike at the goal in an attempt to score. The bicycle kick is an advanced football skill that, due to its difficulty, is dangerous for inexperienced players. Its successful performance has largely been limited to the most experienced and athletic players in football...

Famous people of Ukraine
In the history of humanity there have always been people whose actions and
ideas produced a great impact on the lives of other people. That‘s why they are called
outstanding.
Ukraine is also abundant in talents. They have made a great contribution to the
scientific, cultural and social life of our country.
Ukrainian literature contains a lot of glorious names. The names of Taras
Shevchenko, Lessya Ukrainka, Ivan Franko, Marko Vovchok and Grygoriy
Skovoroda won universal recognition. There‘s hardly a country in the world which
60
doesn‘t have Taras Shevchenko‘s poems translated into its language. Gentle melodies
and deep emotions of Lessya Ukrainka‘s verses are also dear to poetry-lovers
throughout the world. But the names of modern Ukrainian writers are not so well-
known as they should be. Such names as Lina Kostenko, Oles Gonchar, Vasyl
Symonenko, Vasyl Stus and others were...

Sports in Great Britain, the USA and Russia

The British like sport very much. They are fond of all kinds of sports. Many sports were invented in Great Britain and then spread throughout the world. Sports became popular long ago. In the 19-th century sport was organised at public schools so that young people could develop their physical abilities. But shortly afterwards the idea was borrowed by businessmen who started to organise football and other sports for their workers. From the 1960s commercial companies began to sponsor different British sports and activities. The national British sports are: football, golf, cricket, tennis, racing, darts. Like everyone else the British adore football. Moreover, the Englishmen invented it.

Nobody can say for sure when people started playing football on the British Isles. It is important however, that current uniform rules of the game were settled only in the 19-th century. At that time there was a great debate, whether one could...

Cycle sport is competitive physical activity using bicycles. There are several categories of bicycle racing including road bicycle racing, time trialling, cyclo-cross, mountain bike racing, track cycling, BMX, and cycle speedway. Non-racing cycling sports include artistic cycling, cycle polo, freestyle BMX and mountain bike trials. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling and international competitive cycling events. The International Human Powered Vehicle Association is the governing body for human-powered vehicles that imposes far fewer restrictions on their design than does the UCI. The UltraMarathon Cycling Association is the governing body for many ultra-distance cycling races.

Bicycle racing is recognised as an Olympic sport. Bicycle races are popular all over the world, especially in Europe....

My list of extreme sports:

BASE Jumping: is very extreme activity that includes a parachute (can be used both parachute and wingsuit) to jump from fixed objects, with unopened parachute like skydiving. The acronym “B.A.S.E.” stands for: Building, Antenna, Span, Earth – four categories of objects from which B.A.S.E. jumper can jump.

Bodyboarding: is a kind of wave surfing. But instead of surfboard u have a rectangular piece of hydrodynamic foam.

Shape of board depends on riding style, and rider himself. Wiki says that bodyboarding is fastest growing extreme water sports all over the world.

Canoeing: extreme canoeing (a.k.a whitewater canoeing or whitewater racing). These extreme guys race specialised canoes and kayaks down a dangerous whitewater rivers. There is also such a class like Extreme Canoe racing, that includes much more complicated rapids, leave it for real pros
