Who will enter into the final in case of rain in first qualifier?

1

The rules regarding berth in the semi-finals/finals in case of equal points are defined for particular tournament. E.g. in the West Indies Tri-Nation Series, 2013 (Between West Indies, India and Sri Lanka) the rules regarding berth in the finals in case of equal points were as follow:

In the event of teams finishing on equal points, the right to play in the final match or series will be determined as follows:

The team with the most number of wins If still equal, the team with the most number of wins over the other team(s) who are equal on points and have the same number of wins If still equal, the team with the highest number of bonus points If still equal, the team with the highest net run rate

So the above rules were for that particular tournament. Take a look at another example: In the ICC Champions Trophy, 2013 the rules for berth in semi-finals were as follow:

In the event of teams finishing on equal points in its Group, the right to play in...

The 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification process will decide 31 of the 32 teams which will play in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, with the hosts Russia qualifying automatically. All 210 remaining FIFA member associations are eligible to enter the qualifying process. For the first time in World Cup history, all national teams registered for the preliminary competition,[1] although suspensions excluded some teams from participating in qualification.[2][3]Bhutan, South Sudan, Gibraltar and Kosovo made their FIFA World Cup qualification debuts.[4][5][7][8]

While the main qualifying draw took place at the Konstantinovsky Palace in Strelna, Saint Petersburg on 25 July 2015,[9][10] a number of qualification matches were played before that.[11] The first began in Dili, Timor-Leste on 12 March 2015 as part of the AFC's qualification,[12] with East Timorese player Chiquito do Carmo scoring the first goal of qualification. Matches were also played in CONCACAF prior to the main draw.

So, you want to enter a British Open qualifying tournament to try to play your way into the Open. You can do that - if you are a professional golfer or an amateur with a handicap of scratch or better.

There are three types of British Open qualifying tournaments:

Open Qualifying Series (OQS) Regional Qualifying Final Qualifying

It is the Regional Qualifiers (and, potentially, Final Qualifiers) that non-Tour golfers - including "regular " golfers who play, at minimum, to scratch - can enter.

The Open Qualifying Series

The Open Qualifying Series is not a path into the Open that is available for non-Tour golfers. The Open Qualifying Series is for tour pros and consists of tour events on the PGA Tour, European Tour, and several other world tours. In 2017, it consisted of 15 tour events played in 10 different countries and with 44 spots available into the Open.

See HerO for the Team RevolutioN player with the same ID (also a Protoss).
Kim "herO" Joon Ho is a StarCraft progamer from South Korea. He plays Protoss and is currently teamless.

Wings of Liberty

herO played his first official StarCraft II match during the hybrid 2011-2012 Proleague Season 2. Although he was less successful in the BroodWar portion of the hybrid league, herO was one of the most consistent players for CJ Entus in the Wings of Liberty portion. Due to his adept Wings of Liberty play he was selected most of the time to play in the Ace Match. He played a critical role in bringing his team to a championship victory including wins over Rain and soO in the ace matches of both of the semifinal games as well as a win over Stork in the finals.

When the 2012 WCS Korea Championship was announced, herO was one of the KeSPA invites and thus didn't have to participate in the qualifiers. In the first round of the Winners Bracket he lost 2-1 to Puzzle and...

World T20 provides opportunity for ICC to invite emerging teams to test themselves out with major sides but it wouldn't be good idea to dilute the competition level of the tournament. Hence, we'll be playing this 2014 edition in two phases. First, upcoming teams like Hong Kong, Nepal, Netherlands and UAE will go through a round with more established teams like Zimbabwe and Bangladesh who already have test status as well as Ireland and Afghanistan who have ODI status. Second round is when the real championship starts with the top team from each group of first round joins the 8 other major teams..

Once again, which team after the completion of second round qualifies for the semi-final will depend on who did the best, depending on points table which is mentioned below.

Note that each team will earn 2 points for an outright win and share 1 point with opposition in case of a tie or no result. If two teams finish on same points, net run rate will determine who goes ahead....

The Case of the Discontented Husband (1932)
Undoubtedly one of Mr. Parker Pyne's greatest assets was his sympathetic manner. It was a manner that invited confidence. He was well acquainted with the kind of paralysis that descended on clients as soon as they got inside his office. It was Mr. Pyne's task to pave the way for the necessary disclosures.
On this particular morning he sat facing a new client, a Mr. Reginald Wade. Mr. Wade, he deduced at once, was the inarticulate type. The type that finds it hard to put into words anything connected with the emotions.
He was a tall, broadly built man with mild, pleasant blue eyes and a well-tanned complexion. He sat pulling absent-mindedly at a little mustache while he looked at Mr. Parker Pyne with all the pathos of a dumb animal.
"Saw your advertisement, you know," he jerked. "Thought I might as well come along. Rum sort of show, but you never know, what?"
Mr. Parker Pyne interpreted these cryptic...

22:52: Badminton: Ouseph victory

Great Britain's Rajiv Ouseph beat Henri Hurskainen, of Sweden, 22-20 17-21 21-15 in his Group M match in the men's badminton tournament. Both players enjoyed spells of dominance but also made frequent mistakes before world No 25 Ouseph finally prevailed. It was not until the third game that the wristy Ouseph hit his stride, opening up a seven-point lead, but there was still a nervy finish before he won on his second match point. The winning smash brought up a huge roar from the vociferous home crowd, who had been made to wait late into the evening session for Ouseph to appear. Chloe Magee, of Ireland, beat Egyptian Hadia Hosny 21-17 21-6 in a women's game.

22:48: Boxing: Nolan win

Ireland's Adam Nolan beat Carlos Sanchez Estacio, of Ecuador, 14-8 in the men’s welterweight round of 32.

Pouille’s very presence at this stage of the tournament was something of an accident. Yes, he has claimed some significant scalps this season, beating David Ferrer twice and compatriot Richard Gasquet into the bargain. But he also lost in qualifying here and only made it into the main event when Jo-Wilfried Tsonga withdrew at the last minute.

Pouille has a surfer’s mop of blondish hair and a combative game style, based on thumping a heavy ball from the baseline, which feels more Spanish than French. Yesterday, though, he never quite found the right balance of risk and reward, looking for glory shots that would outflank Murray’s excellent court coverage, and missing them more often than not. The win, which came up in just 59 minutes, was so undemanding that Murray returned to the practice court afterwards.

“It was just because I didn’t get to hit loads of balls in the match,” Murray explained afterwards. “There weren’t many long rallies, so I just went out afterward...

Rain, the one thing that can ruin a cricket match, struck again as the IPL Playoffs Qualifier 1 between the Kings XI Punjab and the Kolkata Knight Riders was postponed by a day.

Persistent rains in Kolkata rendered the playing conditions at the Eden Gardens impossible, leaving umpires with little choice but to move Qualifier 1 to rest day on Wednesday.

The match, weather permitting, of course, will now be played at 4 pm tomorrow, with everyone, no doubt, keeping their fingers crossed that we will be able to get the 40 overs in.

"Following the heavy rain in Kolkata over the last two days, the umpires made an early inspection of the ground at the Eden Gardens at 5:15pm and determined, after consultation with the curator, that there was no possibility of the ground being fit for play today," a statement on IPL's official website said.

"As a result therefore, the 2014 Pepsi IPL Qualifier 1 playoff match between Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders has...

The Kolkata Knight Riders v Kings XI Punjab IPL qualifier at Eden Gardens, which had been postponed to Wednesday due to torrential rain, appears set to go ahead this afternoon with the weather improving in Kolkata*. "Covers off. Sun out. Eden ready. Game on am told," tweeted Sundar Raman, the IPL chief operating officer.

The match is scheduled to begin at 4 pm, while the eliminator in Mumbai, between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, will be played at 8 pm as scheduled.

If the weather or ground conditions do not permit a full game in Kolkata on Wednesday as well, overs will be reduced till it is a five-over-a-side affair. If even that is not possible, as per the playing conditions, the winner will be decided via a Super Over. The latest the Super Over can begin is 9.10 pm.

If that, too, is ruled out, then the side which finished the league stage with more wins - that is, Kings XI - will go through to the final. Thundershowers "in spots" are forecast...

A depression over the Bay of Bengal may be a meteorological condition but it can have a deep impact on cricket - and on Kolkata Knight Riders in particular. After a whirlwind performance to book a berth in the Indian Premier League qualifiers, there is now a possibility that incessant rain may wash away their dreams of a direct entry into the final.

Kolkata were scheduled to play table-toppers Kings XI Punjab in the first IPL qualifier at Eden Gardens on Tuesday. Relentless rains though forced the match to be postponed to the reserve day - Wednesday at 1600 hrs IST. According to the Indian Meteorological Department though, dark clouds are likely to remain over Kolkata - a dismal sign for fans of the 2012 champions. If Wednesday's play is washed out as well, Kings XI Punjab will enter the final owing to a better run-rate, as per rule 21.10 (b) of the IPL Playing Conditions. However, if there is scope, a Super Over would decide the victors and the 'said match' can be...
